Frequently asked questions
What qualifications do I need to teach in Vietnam?
Requirements depend on the employer, role and applicable work rules. Share your degree, teaching certificates, subjects or age groups taught and relevant experience. An employer may ask for supporting documents later. Submitting an application does not confirm eligibility or guarantee an interview or offer.
Can I apply if I am not a native English speaker?
You can share your background through the teaching application. Suitability depends on the role, language proficiency, qualifications and applicable work requirements, not a blanket promise based on nationality. Check the criteria for each opportunity and confirm legal eligibility through official sources.
Can I apply before I move to Vietnam?
Yes. Tell us where you are currently based, your preferred location in Vietnam and when you may be available. Avoid making travel or housing commitments on the assumption that an application will lead to an offer. Confirm entry and work requirements separately.
What if no suitable teaching job is listed?
Send a general application with your qualifications, experience, preferred location and availability. This gives us a starting point for reviewing your interests. It does not mean a matching vacancy is available or that a placement can be guaranteed.
What should I include in my first message?
For teaching work, include a short summary of your qualifications, experience, preferred location and possible start date. Attach your CV as an unencrypted PDF up to 5 MiB; it is required for teaching applications. For expat support, choose a service and describe your situation and main questions. Do not submit passport numbers, financial information or sensitive documents through these forms.
Can you arrange or guarantee a visa or work permit?
We provide practical preparation guidance, not legal representation or visa issuance. Requirements depend on your nationality, purpose and circumstances and may change. Entry permission and permission to work are separate matters. Confirm the appropriate route with the relevant authorities; approvals and processing times are their decision.
What does relocation and housing guidance cover?
Start with your budget, preferred area, commute and arrival plans. We can help you work through questions about rental terms, deposits, utilities and what to check before committing. This is guidance, not a guarantee of available properties, verified landlords or a rental agreement. Confirm details directly with the provider.
Can I ask for support if I already live in Vietnam?
Yes. Choose the relevant service and describe your location and the issue you are working through, such as a move, housing questions or everyday setup. Practical guidance is not a substitute for advice from qualified legal, medical or financial professionals when your situation requires it.
How do I find out about fees and third-party costs?
Describe what you need so the scope can be discussed. Before agreeing to assistance or paying anyone, ask what is included, what any service fee covers, and which government, landlord or other third-party charges are separate. Confirm payment terms and request a receipt. No fixed rate or processing deadline is promised on this page.
What happens after I submit the form?
Your details are stored for review and a reply using the email you provide. No automatic confirmation email is sent. A follow-up may ask for clarification so relevant options and next steps can be discussed. There is no guaranteed response time, job offer or service outcome. If you need to add context, use one of the contact channels listed on this page.
