Questions worth asking early
Do I need every document before applying?
No. Start with an accurate summary of your qualifications and experience. A CV is required on the initial form. Employers may request supporting documents later; confirm the required format and secure sharing method first.
How should I compare salary offers?
Look beyond the monthly figure. Compare guaranteed hours, preparation time, taxes, deductions, housing costs, transport and the timing of your first payment. Ask the employer to clarify any terms you do not understand.
When should I book flights or housing?
Confirm the offer, start date, entry requirements and agreed arrival support first. Check cancellation terms and avoid assuming that an application or offer alone gives permission to enter or work.
Where should I confirm immigration requirements?
Confirm current requirements with the relevant Vietnamese authorities and your employer. If your circumstances need legal advice, consult an appropriately qualified professional. General recruitment guidance is not legal advice.
